Subject Browse
This search is available from the Basic Search screen. The Subject Browse search will always result in an alphabetical list of Library of Congress subject headings
starting with the word or words being searched. You can move forward and backward in the alphabetical list by clicking the Previous
or Next
icons.
For each subject heading, the number of titles associated with that specific heading is listed to the left of the heading.

The search results show 27 titles with the Library of Congress subject heading "Wolves".
When a heading is underlined, clicking on that heading will take you to a list of titles associated with the subject heading. If there is only one title associated with the heading, clicking on it will take you directly to the title's detailed display.
If the list of subject headings includes one or more with an "Info" icon next to the number in the far left column, this links to another related subject heading in the catalog.

In this case, the subject heading "Family life" is not a valid Library of Congress subject heading. The correct heading to use is "Family". Clicking on "Family" will automatically do a subject browse on this term and return a new list of subject headings starting with "Family"..
In the above search for "Family life", the fourth heading listed is "Family life education". This heading has 18 associated titles and is underlined. Clicking on the heading will take you to the title list. In addition, clicking on the "Info" icon next to this heading will show:
